## Urgent Appeal: Help Dr. Mohammed and his family survive and evacuate –

**To every compassionate soul reading this, I am making an urgent, heartfelt plea for the people of Palestine, specifically Gaza, who are facing an unimaginable humanitarian catastrophe right now.** We need your immediate help not only to provide basic necessities but also to secure a chance at survival for one family trapped in this hell.

I am in direct contact with a family enduring hell on earth in Gaza – **Muhammad, his wife Ikhlas, and their five beautiful children: Ahmed (15), Ibrahim (14), twin sons Adam and Amir (11), and their daughter Mira (8).** They are barely surviving in a displacement camp, often going days without food. Despite their own terrifying struggle, Muhammad, with **18 years of experience in the health field** (including as a continuing education supervisor, university lecturer, and holding a Bachelor in Nursing, a Master in Science, and a Doctorate in Clinical Nutrition), is still dedicating himself to helping others. He told me, **”I have an initiative to support malnourished patients. I work around the clock to reduce malnutrition. This is my scope of work.”**

**The situation in Gaza is not just dire; it is an intentional, systematic starvation and denial of basic medical supplies.** People are literally dying every single day. Aid, such as flour, that is “allowed” into the Gaza Strip is being deliberately left to rot, only to be sold on the black market by looting gangs at extortionate prices.

**Imagine these unbearable realities:**

* **A packet of 64 nappies costs more than £140.**

* **A single bag of flour costs £414 in northern Gaza and £276 in southern Gaza.**

* **Onions are now 120 times their pre-war price.**

* **Half a dozen eggs cost £23.**

* Since March, intensified targeting of water infrastructure has left Gazans with no choice but to drink seawater and ration contaminated supplies. **Clean water costs approximately £3 for a sandwich bag-sized amount!**

**Recent reports from the UN, UNICEF, and the Red Cross confirm the escalating horror:** children are dying from malnutrition daily, over half of essential medical supplies are out of stock, and hospitals are overwhelmed and barely functional. Many aid workers have also been killed in recent months.

**This is not just a crisis; it is a profound injustice. Every pound, dollar, or euro you donate can be the difference between life and death.**

## Our Dual Mission: Immediate Aid & Urgent Evacuation

My goal is now twofold, reflecting the extreme urgency of their situation:

1. **Immediate Humanitarian Aid (£5000+):** To provide direct support to Muhammad’s family and, through Muhammad’s incredible efforts, to other malnourished patients and those in desperate need within Gaza. Your contribution will directly help them access:

* **Life-saving food:** flour, eggs, onions, and other essentials to prevent starvation.

* **Clean water:** a fundamental human right denied to so many.

* **Basic necessities:** including vital items like nappies for children and essential hygiene products.

2. **Urgent Evacuation for Muhammad and His Family (Estimated £30,000 – £50,000+):** This is a costly but absolutely critical objective. The only viable exit route from Gaza for Palestinians without foreign passports is currently through the Rafah crossing into Egypt, which is controlled by an Egyptian company known as Hala. Reports indicate the fees are exorbitant, often **ranging from $5,000 (£3,960) per adult and $2,500 (£1,980) per child.** For Muhammad, Ikhlas, and their five children, this could mean a minimum of **$27,500 (£21,780)** just for exit permits, and potentially much more given the unpredictable and escalating nature of these costs. This figure doesn’t include any post-evacuation support like initial accommodation, food, or basic needs in Egypt.

**We are appealing to the global community to help us make this evacuation happen imminently.** This is their only chance to escape the active genocide and find safety.
